This puppy has a blue collar on. It was their first time being outside and Mr. Blue was relaxing the whole time. He came near me, smelled my camera and just flopped down and slept. So cute! But alas, we're looking for an active boy.

Our summer days have been so nice. When the work week is over, the weekend calls for beers and boats, sunsets on the deck, grocery shopping and old friends getting married and catching up with everyone else. I constantly catch myself smiling at him-- when he cooks, works from home, brushes his teeth.

We're getting a dog. Cooper [Flores-Prince] is his name and we visited him and his family on Friday. He's a yellow labrador and quite the feisty one at three weeks of age-- funny how she handed him to me and says, "Ohhhh, and this one's a little pistol." Travis inadvertently fell in love with the little pistol.

Life is so different when you have one to call your other. We're learning and loving. There's a possibility of living in Paris for a couple years and becoming citizens. We've done the obligatory dinners with each others' parents- even grandparents. Mom and dad like him; mom really likes him.
